Day #40 Psoriasis
Is a T-cell (tea) cell mediated inflammatory dermatosis characterized by rythematous patches and silver scales (silver dollar pancakes). Five percent of patients also have seronegative arthritis with sausage digits. Lesions are classically found on the extensor surfaces. Treatment increase topical steroids and light therapy (light T bone steak). If more severe methotrexate and recently TNF-alpha inhibitors have been shown to be effective though expensive.
