New Daily Drawing Project
It’s been over a year since I stopped my first daily doodle project. In the interim I had plans of tackling bigger projects and in some ways I have. However, for the most part I’ve let design slip behind other priorities. So today I’m going back to what seemed to work and restarting a new daily project. I plan to draw a new pictogram/icon/line drawing based on the medicine USMLE step 2 boards I’m studying for. I’ve always lagged behind in memorizing written text and in med school I’ve combatted this with making visual representations. This isn’t unique or novel but it’s helped me retain more medical information. My goal is to formalize that process and make a vector pictogram that sums up one small medical tidbit each day. Hopefully this will keep design more in the forefront as well as provide at least one piece of knowledge I retain each day.
